About Us
Why We Exist?
ECO-Hub Tanzania is an environmental-centred innovation centre that aims to promote environmental sustainability and improve livelihoods in Tanzania. Our headquarters are located in Tanzania’s largest commercial city Dar es Salaam. The motivation behind Eco-Hub Tanzania is the technological advancement, a drastic increase in the youth population and the expansion of cities. Tanzania's economic growth and emerging development projects fail to promote the adequate contribution of innovation to solve the environmental challenges and this is where we come on board.

We host charity events and we have collection centres to collect plastics, clothes, books, shoes, and by hosting cleanup events we found out that plastics are the most dominant waste in our data but also shoes, and clothes.

We curate exhibitions to promote paintings, traditional dances, poems, drama, spoken words, and poems to convey the message of sustainability. We curate seminars to train artists, host artistic entrepreneurship programs and dina galla to promote the arts industry in Tanzania.
